Walk through Michelangelo’s Rome
A journey into secrets, scandals, and timeless beauty
Step back into the dazzling world of Renaissance Rome on a 2-hour walking tour that unveils the city through the eyes of Michelangelo and his contemporaries. Wander through the cobbled streets and hidden corners where popes plotted, lovers whispered, and artists created eternal masterpieces.

Rome is a vibrant, multiethnic, and stylish city. The capital of Italy is home to some of the world’s most important works of classic art and architecture. This city has been an epicenter of culture and religion for more than 2,500 years. Think of the Colosseum and the many traces of Ancient Rome, the Trevi fountain, and the Vatican. There are more than enough sights to keep even the most active tourists busy in Rome: more than 900 churches, the Jewish ghetto, Navona square, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Imperial Forum, St. Peter’s Basilica and much, much more. To see Rome through the eyes of a Roman though is a totally different experience: you will discover places off the tourist trail where only locals go. You will learn to slow down and enjoy Rome’s cafes, visit the Testaccio market, see the Caracalla bath in 3D, visit a museum of Roman art inside a dismissed electrical plant, and walk in the liberty style Coppedè district.

You can learn to make pasta or pizza, visit an ice cream factory, ride a horse along the Ancient Appian Way, attend a concert at the Auditorium and test some of the inventions of Leonardo da Vinci.
You could easily spend 10 days in Rome, staying in the same hotel or apartment and visit not only Rome but also the lesser-known surroundings sites. Ancient Ostia is one of these less know treasures, an entire ancient Roman city that you can be easily reach with the subway. The Pontine Islands are so little even if they are no less beautiful than other more known Italian islands. You can take day trips to the local vineyard, olive groves, walk along ancient religious paths, swim in volcanic lakes, and enjoy the genuine traditions of Rome’s region: Lazio
